Bonjour my dear readers! How are you doing?! I've been quite busy the last couple of days so I couldn't manage to post anything on the blog. I do have some cool news that I want to share!I've decided to go and study in London at the University of the Arts in December! I seriously can't wait! So let me tell you a bit of what I'm going to do, maybe you might be interested as well cause many of you do LOVE fashion and everything about it!
So in the second week of December I'll be studying at University of the Arts London at the London college of fashion to be precise. The university is Europe's largest provider of education in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts. I always wanted to study at this university or to do some sort of course because they offer many courses that I'm really interested in. London College of fashion focuses mainly on fashion related subjects/courses and management. I was really doubting between 2 courses which were Fashion Marketing and Luxury Brand Management & Product Design. I love marketing and fashion and they both offer what I'm looking for. Can you guess which one I chose? Nope not Fashion Marketing, I went for Luxury Brand Management & Product Design. I felt like I wanted to do something a bit broader than only fashion. So this actually involves anything related with the luxury world including ready-to-wear, haute couture, accessories and licensed products.
The duration of the short course is one week. The classes wil start from Monday till Friday from 10.00 am till 17.30pm which is quite intense if you've been out if the ''school'' routine for a couple of months now #sincegraduation. The level is intermediate so it might be helpful if you know the basics of marketing. While I was googling the uni to find information, I saw some famous names in the alumni list of UAL like Jimmy Choo, Matthew Williamson and Alexander McQueen!! Okay so that aside, I honestly can't wait to go to London and explore the city as a student again, meet new people, do Christmas shopping along the way and to study something I'm passionate about! If you have more questions about how I arranged this short courses or anything about this matter, feel free to email me.
Do you have any experience with study abroad or going for a short course somewhere place else? Would love to hear how you experienced it!
