city of londonfashion bloggerit's true bloglondonpretty little thingwhat I love about london
Hi guys! It's been 1 year and two month since I made my move to London to do my master degree and today I want to share 3 things that I love about this capital city! PS: If you have been following me on social media, you might have seen that I've been awarded with a master degree! I'm so so happy!
1. Foodie paradise
If you are a foodie then London is a place to be. I love love loooooove food form different cuisines and I love trying out different restaurants. What I love about London is that it offers a diversity of restaurants in every corner of the city. If you are looking for Italian, Indian, Ghanaian, Chinese, Jamaican, Malaysian... basically whatever your tummy desires, trust me you'll find. I also love the fact that going out to restaurants doesn't necessary has to be expensive. You can find cheap places that offers exquisite food. To keep it short, it's a true foodie paradise!
The second thing that I love about London is how multicultural this city is. It makes sense because it's a capital city but you will be shocked how diverse the population is here. I'm a person I love to be exposed to different cultures, the smell of different cuisine as soon as I step off the tube etc. During postgrad, I met a lot of people from countries such as Indonesia, Taiwan and Mexico. Yearly, London welcomes a lot of international students and expats from around the world which to me is absolutely amazing!
3. You will never get bored in London
They have a saying ''When you're bored of London, you're bored of life'' and I actually understand this. London never sleeps, just like what they say about New York. I love the fact that there is always something I can do from visiting museums, to partying, to sports, to musicals, to exhibitions, to festivals, to shopping, you name it! There's something for everyone here. Back in my home town, there is literally nothing happening. Everything closes at 6 and there is simply not much going on. So coming here and experiencing that there is always something to do is incredible and so much fun and not actually so good for my purse hahah!
