Hey you! Welcome back! Remember my previous shoot I did at the boutique Hotel The Roosevelt? So I wanna show you guys the beauty of this authentic hotel in a small town called Middelburg in The Netherlands. So for all the Dutchies that are heading to Zeeland to spend their vacay this summer, you might like this. And for all the internationals reading this post, if you’re planning to come to The Netherlands, you might want to visit Hotel The Roosevelt & I’m going to tell you why…
The funny thing is when I first saw the building of this hotel, I wasn’t sure if it was an office or someone’s home. Let’s put it like this, it didn’t look like an hotel from the outside hahah. So we got in, we entered the main restaurant of the hotel which was very cozy. You immediately felt like you’ve entered someone cottage! A lot of attention has been paid to every detail when it comes to the interior. Even the flowers on the tables are real hahah! We were helped by the owner herself who showed us our room. She was so open, helpful and super friendly. You could feel her passion that she put in decorating this hotel!
The breakfast at this hotel is also delicious. It’s not a buffet however they serve everything at the table. The breakfast is different every morning. If you get delicious fresh baked croissant today, you might get American pancakes the next morning!
The remarkable Rooms
The rooms of the hotel aren’t many. This hotel counts 28 rooms! This makes it a little more personal in my opinion. The owners even told us that most of the time they know exactly who is staying at their hotel. This can really create a home feeling. You can choose from different types of boutique rooms at Hotel The Roosevelt. You can choose from Classic Room / Duplex Junior Suite / Comfort Room / Duplex Suite / Superior Room / Executive Superior Room / Family Suite / Grand Deluxe Room and last certainly not least the Presidential Suite. I really enjoyed our room. It was so spacious, vintage yet very modern at the same time. We also had this beautiful view of the garden of the hotel. You won’t be disturbed by people walking down the hall-way or distracted by the noise outside. At this hotel, you can enjoy the peace. All the rooms at the hotel are also different. Every room has its theme and interior. Whether it’s retro or very minimalistic. Either way, they’re all very unique! Do keep in mind that if you’re coming by car, you will have to pay for parking. You can either but it at a garage for which you’ll pay per day or you can choose to put it in front of the hotel which you’ll pay per hour. So after seeing these pictures, would you ever want to try out this boutique hotel? I’m curious!
