I finally made time to explore some of the neighborhoods in London that I haven’t yet visited and the first one on my list was Shoreditch! Well actually I’ve been exploring some parts of London these past few days because of the house haunting I’ve been doing like crazy! More of this to come in the next post. You definitely wanna read this hahah.
Anyway, so few days back, I went to Shoreditch and strolled around the area. I didn’t have a glue where I was heading. Didn’t have a map or a specific route. I didn’t follow a yellow big road #lol. It was just me & my camera. Who needs a guide?! Every corner of Shoreditch is so interesting. I really love the vibe going on here. It’s a casual & urban neighborhood if you just wanna go out and have a drink with your friends or go to some cool restaurant to grab something to eat. Besides that, you can see this neighborhood is all about fashion, music, creativity and art. I haven’t seen that much graffiti one after the other. They are mind blowing! Shoreditch offers a lot of vintage stores as well for all the shop-a-holics out there!
While you’re here, you can also walk to Columbia Road Flower Market which I did. I LOVE flowers. You might have noticed it by now if you’re following me on Instagram! One thing I didn’t know is that it was going to be packed! Wow! If you’re not going to buy any flowers, I would go when it’s not that busy. I don’t know when that is precisely but the day that I went which was a sunday, it was so crowded!
After discovering some parts of the neighborhood, I made time for my favorite part of the day which is #foodtime hahah. I went to this place called Shoreditch Grind for lunch. You can go there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I had this toast with smashed avocado and feta. Boy oh boy, it was sooo good! Apparently they also have pretty good coffee so I’ll definitely visit that place again. If you’re coming to London, definitely make time to visit Shoreditch! I’m sure you’ll love this creative part of London.
