3 Reasons Why It's Important To Find A Niche For Your BlogHi guys! Welcome back to another article on It’s True Blog. Today I want to discuss a topic that a lot of bloggers struggle with… especially in the beginning of blogging. It’s finding a niche! Here are 3 Reasons Why It’s Important To Find A Niche For Your Blog.

The reason why I want to discuss this topic today is because 1) it’s hard. Secondly, it’s quite important to have a niche especially in the beginning of starting a blog. I’ve struggled with it for years. Most people who struggle with finding a niche is simple because they like sharing many kinds of things on their blog. Which is normal if you think about it. But eventually we have to think long-term and what we actually want for our blog and what kind of community we want to create around it. So continue to read about 3 Reasons Why It’s Important To Find A Niche For Your Blog.

1 – Build A Strong Community

When you find a niche for your blog, you manage to build a strong community around it. I’ve struggled for years to find a niche for my blog because guess what? I don’t like 1 thing and same goes for you right? Everyone knows that. However in the initial stage of creating brand awareness for your blog, it is important to let your readers know what you will be writing about the majority of the time. For example, if you write about baking desserts a couple of times and all of a sudden you’re going to write about skin care, it will confuse your main readers.

A community is eventually built on certain niche. No one wants to subscribe to a blog where they know they won’t be seeing the same content every week. For instance if I would subscribe to a blog who gives incredible YouTube tips and tricks, I expect the content to be more or else within the same topic. Here and there it can change a bit. But if all of a sudden the blog talks about beauty and the following week about cars, I wouldn’t be interested to be part of the community. Simply because the topic of the articles are not consistent enough.

2 – Authority

So when you find a niche for you blog and when you stick to it as much as possible. Especially in the beginning, you are creating some form authority. People will be coming to your blog to read about your niche whether it’s gaming, beauty, fashion, tutorials, cooking, relationships and so on. For example, if I would go and watch Nikki Tutorials on YouTube, it’s because of her make-up tutorials. And this is why other millions of people are ending up at her channel because of the ”authority” she has created around within her niche.

3 – Growth

Now we have come to the last point… growth. Merge community and authority together and that is a recipe for growth. When a strong community is being built around a particular niche, people who are interesting in that topic will be interested to subscribe -> join your community. When people join your community it means they will keep on coming back AND share it within their community. If this keeps happening more and more often, you are setting yourself to a huge growth for your blog!

Thats it for today guys. I hope these tips were useful. So here comes the burning question… Have you found a niche for your blog? Also, don’t forget to subscribe to my blog below!
